A veteran of Berklee College of Music, trombone player Ozzie Melendez is also a writer, arranger, producer, vocalist, and composer in multiple genres (pop, Latin, jazz).

He has toured with Latin superstar Marc Anthony, Celia Cruz, Willie Colon, Diana Ross, and Blood Sweat and Tears. His album credits include performances on releases from Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Billy Joel, Paul Simon, Marc Anthony, Juan Gabriel, Vanessa Williams, and David Bryne. He also performed at the inaugural celebrations for Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. Melendez’s solo album Nota de Amor was released in 2019.
